Duncan Cowichan Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Lunch n’ Learn with Ingrid Vaughn from My Smart HR & Leadership exploring the new normal for employers, and what they need to be aware of in the current labour landscape.
Over the last two years, workers have undergone a myriad of changes in their work environments and job expectations. Many have re-evaluated their priorities and are returning to the workforce with different mindsets, world views and expectations. Given the current and ongoing labour shortages, employers will need to continue to adapt and shift to these new norms if they want to compete for the workers that are available.
This workshop identifies these new norms and offers strategies for how to recruit and retain talent now, and for the foreseeable future.
