The 2023 State of the Island Economic Report is now live! At the recent Vancouver Island Economic Association’s (VIEA) annual summit in Nanaimo, Susan Mowbray, Partner, MNP’s Consulting Group and lead author introduced and launched the 9th edition of the report as a digital dashboard. The digital dashboard allows users to quickly view data and commentary from past years, as well as explore key metrics and topics in greater depth. The dashboard covers macroeconomic indicators such as population and labour force numbers, industry analysis and cost of living and affordability. The new dashboard provides a host of user-friendly benefits including:
