Economic Development Cowichan (EDC) is excited to announce that Canada’s largest commercial real estate marketing platform, Spacelist, is now available directly from the EDC website.
Spacelist is a Vancouver-based tech company that was launched in 2011, that strives to make available office, retail and industrial real estate easily accessible on one platform. A listings website provides a one-stop shop for investors and business owners to browse through available real estate, to find the option that best suits their needs. Spacelist allows users to specify the land type, size, sale/lease, along with a number of other filters, to profile appropriate listings. It also helps connect landlords with suitable tenants, as their listings reach more people.
This activity was a recommendation provided in EDC’s recently released Industrial Land Use Strategy, which highlighted the importance of profiling available industrial properties in the region. Economic Development Cowichan will be continuing to build on the recommendations provided in the strategy, such as Spacelist, to improve access to industrial lands and encourage industrial development.
