Economic Development Cowichan is pleased to announce the return of the Cowichan Valley Wine Festival that has been organized through the dedicated efforts from local wineries. It will be taking place on August 24-26.
The weekend commences with the kickoff Party at the Pavilion on Friday, August 24 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Shawnigan Lake School Pavilion. It will be a night of great entertainment in a beautiful setting with complimentary tastings.
During the rest of the Festival Weekend guests are invited to a self-guided tour of the 11 participating wineries, with special activities taking place at each stop. The activities range from cooking with wine demonstrations, guest appearances from local artists to showcase their work, live entertainment, gourmet foods and more!
This is the perfect opportunity for wine lovers to explore Cowichan’s internationally acclaimed wine industry, indulge in quality tastings and learn firsthand what makes Cowichan wineries truly exceptional.
Tickets for the Party at the Pavilion are $35 and include a branded touring wine glass and wine tastings.
Tickets for the wine Festival Weekend are $15 and also include wine tastings and a touring wine glass that can be picked up at your first winery visit.
