About our Speakers:
Jodie McDonald is a counsellor in private practice in Duncan and Victoria BC, specializing in the somatic modality of Integrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP). As a Registered Social Worker in BC, Jodie has over 20 years’ experience in the non-profit sector, and has worked in crisis and suicide intervention, family support, and mental health. Jodie also teaches at Vancouver Island University, and facilitates professional development workshops throughout BC, specializing in boundary practice, self-care, and wellness education for the workplace.
Ben Kotler has been a student of the human experience throughout his life. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor he has had the opportunity to walk beside people as they journey through their struggles and challenges, their growth and overcoming, their sorrows and joys. Having focused primarily on mental health and spiritual issues in the past, his current interest is in the human sexual experience. Ben operates a private counselling practice in the heart of downtown Duncan, British Columbia.
