Digital Innovation Group (DIG) has launched ART’S Impact – A Survey to help measure the economic, social, cultural, and health impacts of arts across the Vancouver Island/Gulf Islands/Central Coast super-region. Whether you are an artist, arts worker, cultural organization, local business or somebody who just loves the arts, DIG invites you to participate.

DIG is a group of Vancouver Island and Gulf Island arts councils interested in using technology to transform how they operate, collaborate and communicate. In March 2020, DIG embarked on a digital strategy project with the help of funding from the Canadian Council of the Arts. As part of Phase 2 of this project, they are conducting an economic impact assessment of the arts sector.

“Have you ever wondered about the value artists and arts organizations contribute to our economy? To tourism, general well-being and community? We just launched a groundbreaking study that will answer this question and provide our arts ecosystem with vital data that will enable us to leverage all sorts of new collaborations and innovations.” – digarts.ca

By completing the survey and sharing it with your friends, family members and colleagues, you will help paint an accurate picture of the important economic and social impacts of arts and culture in our region. Plus, everyone who completes the survey will have the chance to win one of 5 x $100 prizes!
