Community Futures Cowichan has partnered with Chambers of Commerce, Business Improvement Associations, and Tourism Cowichan to provide local businesses access to Wait Queue Management Solution, the most cost-effective and safest way for businesses to automate lineups during COVID-19.
Wait Queue Management Solution by Kuusoft allows retailers, restaurants, and other businesses to create a virtual queue of customers waiting to enter their business. The web-based app updates waiting customers with a text message when it is their turn to enter, so they don’t have to wait outside in the rain or in a crowd. As part of this Cowichan Valley initiative, the licensing cost and first 100 customer text messages are free for one year for participating businesses. Additional text messages are charged at a deeply discounted rate of $0.06 per message. There are a limited number of free licenses available through this initiative.
